Canadian students have fun with Real Kids’ Magazine!

Children need an abundance of appropriate and appealing literature to foster their developing love of reading. By experiencing a wide range of writing styles within a variety of genre, accompanied by varying artistic styles of illustration and photography, children are exposed to the endless possibilities of expressive media.

Our ‘Learn and Earn’ fundraiser can bring this and more to students, while helping raise additional funds for schools at the same time! Real is a Canadian children’s magazine, which follows a leveled approach to literacy and, through literature, exposes students to all other areas of the curriculum. In addition to individual and shared reading each issue includes puzzles, interesting facts, timelines and jokes, all of which provide additional opportunities for educational family fun.

Real is available in an Elementary edition for children from kindergarten to grade three, and a Junior edition for students from grades four to eight. Neither edition contains any advertising whatsoever, just lots of fun and interesting curriculum based children’s literature.

Real The Canadian Kids’ Magazine is not intended to replace school resources, but rather to supplement them for families looking for fun ways to share in their children’s education at home. With our ‘Learn and Earn’ fundraiser, students can subscribe to one of the two editions of our magazine, or both, of course! Schools will earn substantial funds and students will have fun as they Read Everything And Learn!

Fundraising with Real is a breeze. Just follow these easy steps to success:

1. CLICK ON 'FUNDRAISER REGISTRATION'

Fill in the form that comes up. You will receive an e-mail conformation that your school has been registered for our ‘Learn and Earn’ fundraiser.

2. HAND OUT THE SUBSCRIPTION FORMS

We will send you the requested number of subscription forms, along with a pre-addressed, postage paid envelop. Simply hand out the subscription forms to all students. Parents can use our discounted online method and subscribe for only $19.99 a year, or they can fill in the paper form, attach a cheque or money order and return it to the school for only $24.99 a year including processing. Real is delivered five times per year as outlined below.

3. RETURN COMPLETED SUBSCRIPTION FORMS - AND YOU’RE DONE!

Place any paper subscription forms and cheques that you receive into the pre-addressed, postage paid envelope provided, and drop the envelope into the mail – You’re done! Magazines will be mailed directly to students’ homes. No more sorting and filling orders at school!

SIX WEEKS LATER

You will receive a cheque for 20% of the subscription fee for every subscription received from your school, along with a summary of the subscription method used and the totals. For online subscriptions the ‘School Name’ is a required field, so you can be sure your school will receive credit for every subscription.

BONUS

Schools will receive one free library copy of each edition just for taking part in our ‘Learn and Earn’ fundraiser, as well as additional copies for every one hundred subscriptions submitted!
